Website Promotion with AutoSITE

Website promotion with AutoSITE enables you to submit your new website domain name to the major search engines and directories.

Simply log into your AutoSITE web Control Panel and maximise the Logo, Background and SEO section tab. You will find a list of makor search engines and directories at the end of the section.

Click on a search engine link to add your URL (wedsite domain name) to the directory. You will be presented with a submission page. Enter your domain name and click submit. The search engine / diretory will add your website in the near future if it deems it suitable to index.

Please remember that many of these directories and search engines will not add your website immediately and this process takes tiem. Please do not re-submit your site constantly, as you may be seen to be 'spamming' the submission process and may be banned from listing your website in the future.

You can find other places to submit your website by searching for searching. You might include 'submit url', 'directory' or your country name to your search. Also, please be careful when submitting using your main email address, checking exactly who you are submitting to. Many spammers use these type of submission forms to add your email address to a spam list.

If you really want to get your site ranked on the search engine, the surest ways is to get other websites to link to you. You can 'swap links' which means that you provide a link to the otehr site also - but remeber the important part is not linking 'outwards', but inbound links, pointing at your website. You can use the links tab (page 6 on the Control Panel) to add links to your website, pointing outwards. Always remeber to click 'Save' when you make any changes on your Control Panel if you want them to be applied to your website.
