Word Files: Uploading To AutoSITE

You can upload up to 100 files in Microsoft Word (.DOC) format directly to your AutoSITE by using the control panel.

1. Simply log in on your weblinks page (page 6 of your AutoSITE). Enter your username and password to display the control panel.

2. Enter accompanying link text / title for your DOC under a blank line number in the filecentre section (page 4 in the CP).

3. Then, simply click on 'Upload', browse to your DOC file, (less than 75Kb in size) and click OK. Your DOC will be uploaded automatically. Hit 'Save' and you're done!

That's how easy it is. With a DOC file you can add text and pictures, using Microsoft Word (Microsoft Word comes alone, or as a part of Microsoft Office).

You can download a free Word Viewer from Microsoft to view word files if you do not have Microsoft Office installed.

Most interestingly, you can download Open Office, a complete professional office suite, capable of opening and saving almost any file format, including Microsoft's Word DOC file from www.openoffice.org.
